Help · AI connector

Use the calculators in your own AI

Five of the calculators on this site can also be used directly in Claude or another AI assistant. This works through the Arbejdsrets Guru connector — a connector that lets your AI use our calculators. You ask in your own words, and the AI calculates with the same method as the website.

Danish rules

The tools apply Danish law and answer in Danish. Your AI can explain the answer in your own language.

Many items in one call

60 salary payments, a year of sick-leave periods or an entire shift plan are calculated at once — without typing them in one by one.

Fixed cut-off dates

You set the interest date and the other cut-off dates yourself. Nothing is ever calculated to “today”, so the result can be reproduced later.

A breakdown you can quote

The answer shows the intermediate steps, the legal basis and the source of the rates, so it can go into an appendix or an email.

The five tools

What each tool does

Each tool corresponds to one or more calculators on this site. Ask in your own words — the AI picks the tool itself and asks if a date is missing.

Late-payment interest

guru_procesrente

MatchesStatutory Interest Calculator (Denmark)

Covers
Statutory interest under the Danish Interest Act (renteloven) on one or more claims up to a date you choose — with periods, rates and interest for each item and totals for the whole claim.
Does not cover
Contractual interest, compound interest, interest that a court has set aside, and claims that fell due before 1 August 2002.
Ask, for example
  • »What is the interest on 60 monthly amounts if the claim is paid on 1 November?«
  • »Salary fell due on the last banking day of each month from January 2023. What is the late-payment interest up to 15 December 2026?«

Up to 500 claims per call

The interest rates

guru_rentesatser

MatchesStatutory Interest Calculator (Denmark)

Covers
The reference rate and the interest margin per half-year — the table the late-payment interest calculator uses — and when the rates were last fetched from Danmarks Nationalbank.
Does not cover
The interest on a claim itself: that is the late-payment interest tool. Half-years the Nationalbank has not set yet are marked as not set.
Ask, for example
  • »What was the late-payment interest rate in the second half of 2023?«
  • »Check the interest tab in my spreadsheet against the rates since 2015.«

Every half-year from a year you choose

Notice under the Salaried Employees Act

guru_opsigelse

MatchesNotice Period Calculator (Denmark) · Date Calculator (Denmark)

Covers
Notice period and leaving date, severance pay (section 2 a), the cap on compensation for unfair dismissal (section 2 b), the probation dates and when the notice period goes up — under the Salaried Employees Act (funktionærloven).
Does not cover
Notice under a collective agreement or longer agreed notice, employees outside the Salaried Employees Act, civil servants and summary dismissal — and whether the dismissal is fair. The section 2 b figure is a cap, not an award.
Ask, for example
  • »A salaried employee was hired on 1 March 2012 and given notice on 20 August 2026. What is the notice period, and is there a right to severance pay?«
  • »When does the notice period go up next for someone hired on 15 September 2021?«

One employment per call

The 120-day rule

guru_120_dages_regel

Matches120-Day Rule Calculator (Denmark)

Covers
Sick days within 12 months for full and partial sick leave, the 120th sick day, and whether a notice was given on time — with the day-by-day count.
Does not cover
Whether the rule was agreed in writing, whether the absence is illness, and illness during parental leave or after an industrial injury. Only the periods you give it are counted.
Ask, for example
  • »Here are the sick-leave periods for the past year. Was the notice given on 3 October on time under the 120-day rule?«
  • »The employee has been off sick 4 of 7.4 hours a day since 1 June. When will 120 sick days have passed?«

Up to 200 sick-leave periods per call

Working time, rest and overtime

guru_arbejdstid

MatchesWorking Time Check (Denmark) · Overtime Pay Calculator (Denmark) · 11-Hour Rest Rule Calculator (Denmark)

Covers
A shift plan or time record checked against the 11-hour rest rule, the weekly day off, the 48-hour rule, breaks and night work under Danish law — and overtime per shift as in the overtime calculator.
Does not cover
The collective agreement’s own rules on rest and working time, exemptions, and whether on-call time is working time in law. You enter the agreement’s overtime rates yourself. Time that is not recorded counts as rest.
Ask, for example
  • »Here is the shift plan for September. Are the 11-hour rule and the weekly day off complied with?«
  • »Normal hours are 7–15. How much overtime is there in these shifts, and how much at 50 and 100%?«

Up to 1,500 shifts over about 3 years at most per call

Getting started

How to connect the calculators

  1. Get access switched on. The AI connector is a separate product that is switched on for your UniteApps account — it does not come with a subscription. Write to [email protected].

  2. Add the address as a connector in your AI. There is no API key: you sign in with your UniteApps account and approve the connection.

  3. Ask as you normally would. The AI uses the calculators by itself when the question calls for it.

The same connector gives your AI access to Arbejdsrets Guru’s decisions, knowledge base, statutes and collective agreements.

The addresshttps://guru.uniteapps.dk/mcp

The step-by-step guide — for Claude on the web, in the app and in Claude Code — is on Arbejdsrets Guru (in Danish).

The answer

What the answer contains

The tools do not just return a number. Every answer comes with a breakdown the AI can reproduce:

Where a calculation offers choices, the default is the same as on this site. If the AI picks something else because the case requires it, the choice is stated in the answer.

Check the echo

The AI copies the figures — both when it sends them to the tool and when it reproduces the answer. Compare the number and sum in the echo with your own figures. If they do not match, the AI has picked up something wrong.

Using the answer in a case

  1. Ask the AI to reproduce the breakdown as a table you can put in an appendix or paste into an email.
  2. Always set the cut-off date yourself — the interest date, the date of notice — so you can run the same calculation later and get the same figures.
  3. Keep the answer with the case file. The method version and the source of the rates show what the figure was based on that day.
  4. If in doubt, check a single item in the calculator on this site. The figures should be the same.

No personal data

The tools only accept numbers, dates and choices. Names, national ID numbers and free text are rejected — there is not even a field for them, and items are identified only by their number in the list. That is why the tools can be used in any case.

For the 120-day rule and working time, we do not store the dates in our call log either.

What you write in the conversation itself is processed by your AI service under its own terms. Follow your workplace’s rules on what you may share with it.

Limits

What the tools do not do

Figures and checks — not documentation. The breakdown shows how the calculation was done, but it does not replace a calculation the other party or a court can follow themselves. A spreadsheet you share still needs its formulas.

No legal assessment. The tools calculate on what they are given. Whether the rules apply in the case — a written 120-day agreement, a collective agreement, a fair dismissal — is for you to assess. The AI can find case law in Arbejdsrets Guru.

Your AI writes its own text. The figures come from the tool, but the explanation around them is the AI’s. Check the figures against the breakdown before you use them.

Indicative, like the calculators. The results are indicative, just as on this site. Read the legal disclaimers.
