Create an .ics calendar file for your event and send it by BCC. Recipients add it to their calendar without seeing who else is invited.
1. Download the ICS file by clicking the button above
2. Open the file in your calendar app (Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, etc.)
3. The event is imported automatically with all its details
4. You can also send the ICS file as an attachment in an invitation to members
The ICS file generator makes a calendar file (.ics) for your event. You send the file as an attachment in an ordinary email, and recipients add the event to Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar with one click. You can choose the time zone, location, meeting link and recurrence. The file is created in your browser and is never sent to us.
An ordinary meeting request in Outlook shows the whole attendee list to everyone who receives it. If you invite 200 colleagues, customers or members, they can all see each other's names and email addresses. Send an .ics file in an email instead, with the recipients in Bcc. Each recipient sees only themselves and can still add the event to their calendar.
The file contains no attendee list. It describes only the event: title, time, location, description and, if you like, a meeting link. That makes it a good fit for staff clubs, employee associations, marketing events, courses and union representatives calling meetings.
Friday 4 December 2026, 18:00–23:30 in the canteen. 240 members are invited.
No recurrence. The email is sent with all 240 in Bcc — nobody can see who else is invited.
A meeting every other Tuesday, 15:30–16:30, from 5 January 2027, with a Teams link for those working from home.
Recurrence: every 2 weeks with an end date of 30 June 2027 — 13 meetings in one file.
Email addresses are personal data. If you send an invitation to customers or external contacts with everyone in the To or Cc field, you share their addresses with each other. Bcc and an .ics file avoid that.
Open the file in your own calendar before you send it, and check the time, recurrence and time zone.
An attendee list for a union meeting can reveal who is a member of a trade union. Trade union membership is a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR. Send the invitation with the recipients in Bcc.
If you hold meetings during working hours in Denmark, check public holidays and days off with the Danish public holidays calculator before the dates go out.
