About the CVR file enrichment tool

The tool updates your existing Excel or CSV files with current data straight from the public Danish Central Business Register (CVR, Det Centrale Virksomhedsregister). It only works for companies registered in Denmark. Upload a file with Danish CVR numbers or P numbers (production unit numbers), choose the fields you want to add, and download the enriched file ready to use — without leaving your browser.

Data fields you can add
  • Address: The company’s current registered business address in Denmark.
  • Owner: Current owners in CVR’s register of owners — owners who have sold out are not included.
  • Director: Current directors (direktører), including managing directors.
  • Email and phone: Only details that are valid today. If the number or email address has expired in CVR, the cell shows “-”.
  • Industry and status: Current main industry and status as registered in CVR. The values come from the Danish register and stay in Danish, e.g. “NORMAL” or “OPLØST EFTER FUSION” (dissolved after merger).
  • P-unit address and status: For rows with a P number: the address and status of the production unit (produktionsenhed) itself. The other columns describe the company that owns the P unit today; for CVR numbers the cell shows “-”.
Requirements for the input file
  • Format: Excel (.xlsx) or CSV with semicolons or commas as separators.
  • First column: Must contain Danish CVR numbers (8 digits) or P numbers (10 digits), mixed if you like. Rows without a recognisable number are skipped, and you are told how many.
  • Size: Max. 1,000 rows and 10 MB. Use “Download template” to get the right format.
  • Data security: The file never leaves your browser — only the CVR and P numbers are sent to UniteApps’ server, which looks them up in the Danish CVR register and returns the data. The rest of the file stays with you.

Examples of use

Update a case list with addresses

You have an Excel file with the CVR numbers of the opposing parties in a case. Upload the file, tick “Address” and “Director”, and download the updated file with all the details filled in.

Check which companies are still active

Tick “Status” to check whether the Danish companies on a list are still active. Companies that have ceased trading appear with their status in the downloaded file.
